A restful corner is mostly an agreement with yourself about what that corner is for.
Natural light if you can get it. A chair you can actually sit in for a while. Something soft. A surface for a cup. Very little else.
Keep it uncluttered and it stays inviting. Fill it with laundry and it becomes another thing to deal with.
The best version is the one you return to. Keep it simple enough that using it feels easier than walking past it.
